The word on the streets of Boscastle is that the Balsam is back! Last year a dedicated team of conservation volunteers made huge inroads into depleting the amount of Himalayan Balsam in the Valency Valley and surrounding catchment area. This year we are really keen to keep up the momentum so we can get another step closer to eradicating it completely.
Below are the following dates for the Great Himalayan Balsam Bash:
Days start at 10am and finish 3pm (or earlier to suit). We will be meeting in the overflow car park in Boscastle (GR: SX100 913).
All tool and tuition are provided. Please bring clothes that can get muddy and food and drink. Wellies are essential. If events change or are cancelled due to weather, we will endeavour to let everyone know. However, feel free to get in touch before hand.
