Spring is on the way it would seem (we are ever hopeful!). The snowdrops have been out for a while now and we have had the first daffodil sightings around the Stowe Barton office. So keep an eye out for all the emerging wildlife!
Half term has just finished and we are all gearing up for the start of the season. Hopefully you all managed to get out and explore in the odd sunny days we have had. The ranger team were busy during half term running a workshop making bird and bug boxes at the Boscastle visitor centre, producing 30 beautifully decorated boxes over all.
Our group of conservation volunteers have been hard at work. Their latest challenge was to tackle the boggy footpath behind Morwenstow church.
Many hands and lots of hard work later, we managed to create a log board walk and steps on the worst bits of path.
If you are interested in volunteering we will be in Boscastle tomorrow working on the footpaths around the harbour, feel free to come along and get stuck in! We will be meeting in the overflow car park at 10am. Please bring clothes that can get muddy, stout foot wear and any food and drink you will need for the day.
