Need some space and fresh air in the run up to Christmas? Then our last Scrub and Spuds day of 2013 will be right up your street.
We’ll be cutting and burning gorse and blackthorn on our valuable coastal habitats at Pentireglaze haven , near New Polzeath on Sunday 22 December. Grab one of our bowsaws and a pair of loppers and we’ll set you loose, while we cook you a jacket potato on the bonfire. We’ll even throw in a festive mulled wine and mince pie.
Meet at the public car park in New Polzeath, SW 936 795 PL27 6UX
Bring any extra jacket potato fillings you would like (we’ll provide cheese and beans). Also any extra food and drink, footwear and clothing suitable for the weather and task. We’ll provide tools, gloves and tuition.
The day starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm. Families and well behaved dogs welcome.
