As part of Outdoor Adventure`s continuing involvement with the National Trust, as an ambassador for coasteering, the Bude based outdoor provider recently gave local Trust tenants the opportunity to experience the thrill first hand.
Head Ranger Jeff Cherrington and Ranger Jennifer Herbert joined them and also took the plunge at Bossiney Cove. For many of the group this was the first time that they had scrambled, swum in the sea and coasteered all in one afternoon.
Jeff said, “We were really keen to offer our Tenants, whom farm the local area, the chance to have a go at coasteering. It gave them the opportunity to see the coastline from a different angle to how they’d normally view it.”
Ollie from Outdoor Adventure led the group, “We were really pleased to be able to take these guys out for an afternoon. It was a good opportunity for us to meet some of the Trust’s tenants and learn about what they do too. From the smiles on their faces, I’m pretty sure that they had fun out there”.
