It has been a busy first month at the OPO what with an early Easter, new staff and builders on-site! We have two new seasonal stewards, Gill and Roz plus our faithful returning stewards Katrina, Sandra and Susan so please pop in and see us if you’re passing.
With funding from North Cornwall NT association we have had local builders creating a slate bench in our front garden. The slate has been bought from a local lady in Trewarmett who is over the moon to think that some of her slate is now being put to good use at a National Trust site.
A metal ring will be attached to the bench so that dogs can be tethered here whilst their owners enjoy a visit to the house.
We had a busy Easter hosting egg hunts and egg and spoon races.
You can see from the photos how much fun was had!
Over the Easter weekend…. 60 children enjoyed the trails and £120 was made from Easter egg trails, this money all helps us look after the property and put on great events….
Looking forward we have a rag rug exhibition, a quilt exhibition and flower show to prepare for – for these, and all the events coming up this year with the National Trust in North Cornwall take a look at our EVENTS PAGE
