As part of our mega beach clean day last Sunday, the @cleanerseasproject picked up all these small scraps of plastic waste and nurdles at Widemouth Bay 22.4.18 #EarthDay2018‬ ‪Washed . Analysed . Counted .‬ ‪483 biobeads . 292 mermaid’s tears . 976 various tiny microplastics . total 1,746 pieces .‬ ‪There is no excuse for #PlasticPollution in our Rivers & Oceans #CleanerRivers #CleanerSeas #CleanSeas ‬ - #regrann Amazing effort to collect, and to display!

Cornwall is.... exploring secret sea caves hunting for forgotten priate treasure

A REMINDER for a Beach Clean with a difference! We’re doing things a little differently for this one, and tomorrow, Sunday 22nd April we’ve teaming up with @theplasticmovement for a Team Beach Clean covering the North Cornish Coastline The National trust will be cleaning: Duckpool @ 10am Sandymouth @ 11:30am Northcott @ 1pm The Plastic Movement will be cleaning: Crackington @ 10am Millook @ 11am Blackrock & Widemouth @ 12pm We will then meet in the middle @2pm to tackle Crooklets & Summerleaze beaches together before ending the day with a Free BBQ at Bude SLSC We hope to see as many of you there as possible, all equipment provided.
